Event Summary

Welcome to the first event in the 2018 Summer Cookie Tri/Du Series.

The series will consist of 3 events. There will be a choice of the Duathlon event, 1k run, 12k bike, 3k run or the Triathlon event, 300m swim, 12k bike, 3k run.

All registrants should sign up under Triathlon or Duathlon.  Register for all 3 and save on registration fees.

No race day registration. 

Events are done in a fun format with the opportunity to try out your new skills or shake the rust off your old skills.

All events will be followed by cookies (of course) and beverages. 

Bring your family to swim in the Lake while you race, play in the playground or cheer you on!!

Course

Swim: Open water swim in Roblin Lake. You will swim past the buoy counterclockwise and back to shore. Wetsuits optional. Volunteer with kayak will stay in the lake until all participants have exited the lake. There are no lifeguards present. 

Bike: The course is on an open road leaving the park heading East on Hwy 19. Turn right on County Road 2 and go South until Burr Road. Turn around and come back to Roblin Lake park the same way. Remember cars have the right of way so be cautious. 

Run: Exit the park and head East on Hwy 19. Turn around at the street sign just prior to reaching Kente Public School and return.

Participants

All are welcome and encouraged regardless of experience and ability. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Both must be registered participants.
